Huge Lobbying for Nandi 2012 and 2013?

The juries of Nandi Awards 2012 and 2013 were highly criticized for lobbying allegations. As we know, the AP government shocked the movie patrons unveiling Nandi Awards winners for 2012 and 2013 respectively. While Jayasudha conferred the awards for 2012, Kodi Ramakrishna revealed the winners list for 2013.

Having seen the list of winners, many observers felt huge lobbying might have been done with the award committees. According to them, 'Eto Vellipoyindhi Manasu' was nowhere in the award ceremonies of Filmfare and other prestigious platforms. Power Star Pawan Kalyan won the Filmfare best actor for 'Gabbar Singh (2012) while Stylish Star Allu Arjun 'Julayi' also bagged many awards. It was alleged that team 'Eto Vellipoyindhi Manasu's impact was there on 2012's jury.

On the other hand, controversy triggered with 2013's awards. As we know Power Star Pawan Kalyan for 'Atharinitiki Daredi' and Prince Mahesh for 'SVSC' won the best actor awards in a couple award ceremonies for 2013. Strangely, Young Rebel Star Prabhas was adjudged the best actor award for 2013. Now that Rajamouli is playing a crucial role in shaping up Amaravati as a historical capital, the director is alleged to have had his influence on awards committee seeking a good mileage to his 'Baahubali 2'. Whatever it is, Nandi lost its respect way back. As a result, most of the movie buffs have taken the awards light.
