After multiple accusations TVF assures investigation

A day after TVF (The Viral Fever) issued its official response denying the claims of sexual harassment detailed by a woman in an anonymous blog and calling them "completely ludicrous and defamatory", a deluge of similar allegations by multiple women has prompted the digital media startup to change its stance.

In stark contrast to the earlier response when the company promised to "leave no stone unturned to find the author of the article and bring them to severe justice for making such false allegations", the person at the centre of the allegations, Arunabh Kumar has showed his willingness to stand the law's scrutiny.

Kumar was quoted by Indiatimes as saying, "I unconditionally and unequivocally deny all these allegations. Social media has already declared me an offender, but I am ready to address all the allegations against me. I am open to receiving a police complaint so that I can respond legally as well. TVF is bigger than me and if there is a remote chance that I have done any wrong, let me be persecuted,”

Similarly, Nidhi Bisht, a writer and director with TVF, who had earlier come out in vociferous support of Kumar has now expressed her shock at the fresh allegations and have promised an "investigation and appropriate action".

After the anonymous blog post went viral, several other women have come out either sharing their own tales of similar horrific experiences or claim to victims who have suffered harassment by Kumar.
