Mumbai-based MotoMojo, a mobile app based vehicle maintenance startup, has raised an undisclosed amount of funding in the seed round from the founders of Ventes Avenues. In the current funding round, Niloufer Dundh, Fauzan Rahim and Balamurugan Mani, the three cofounders of Ventes Avenues, have invested in MotoMojo in their personal capacity.
The raised capital will be used by the company to build its product and team, as well as for customer acquisition. It currently has presence in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Thane. Read more.
Auro Robotics which has been already backed by Y-Combinator, has raised $2 million in a fresh funding round led by Motus Ventures along with the support of Rothenberg Ventures. The startup offers an autonomous vehicle campus shuttle service.
The newly raised capital will help company to roll out autonomous vehicle campus shuttle services at a major American university later this year. According to the company, this will be marked as one of the most advanced deployments of self-driving cars to date.
The California-based startup was founded in around three years ago by Nalin Gupta, Jit Ray Chowdhury and Srinivas Reddy. The company has been a part of IIT Kharagpur Robotics Research Group, CMU’s Robotics Institute and Y-Combinator. Read more.
