Bangalore-based sound led payments firm, ToneTag, has raised an undisclosed amount from a group of investors. The individuals who participated in this round include Nasscom foundation trustee Arun Seth; Manipal Global Education Chairman T.V. Mohandas Pai; Snapdeal’s ex-chief product officer Anand Chandrasekaran; Gencoval Strategic Services Pvt. Ltd chairman Deepak Ghaisas, and a few international investors.

Gurgaon-based realty aggregator, Square Yards, has raised $12 million in investment from Anil Ambani-led Reliance Group. It had raised $11 million in pre-Series A funding from a group of investors in May 2015. It is a hybrid real estate consultancy, which is operational in 10 countries globally. New Delhi-based online golf community and marketplace, GolfLAN, has secured $1 million in investment from YourNest and Africa-based ISON Group. In May 2015, it had raised an undisclosed amount from YourNest in Pre-Series A.
GolfLAN allows golfers to book slots in over 1,000 courses across 40 countries, as well as discover golf equipment and trainers. It was started by Dhruv Verma in 2012. Read More

It was founded by Tarun Matta and Kishan Lal Matta, in August 2010. It claims to have observed 25% year-on-year growth in revenues. Read More
Bangalore-based data science startup, Yottaasys, has raised an undisclosed amount of investment in angel round, from Gleevoaz Ventures. Jaipur-based online test preparation platform, OnlineTyari, has secured an investment of Rs 15 crore from Michael and Susan Dell Foundation. This is a part of a current round of total size Rs 20 crore. The company offers a mobile app which provides vernacular content to students preparing for various competitive exams.
It was founded January 2014 by Vipin Agarwal and Bhola Ram Meena. OnlineTyari claims to have 3.5 million downloads and over 400,000 daily active users. Read More
