Movie Review: A gripping storyline and Mohanlal’s quintessential acting skills are the main highlights of Kanupapa, the Telugu version of Malayalam dubbed film Oppam. Although, the other actors did try to justify their respective roles but they could not reach the acting standards set by Mohanlal. The portrayal of characters by the actors, with respect to their body language, lacked intensity .The first half of the movie beautifully builds around the thriller plot of the movie but nearing the second half, the movie loses track and stretches scenes unnecessarily. The music score of the movie is similar to that of the 1990’s songs, old and slow. The anti-climax scenes are prolonged for no reason and lacked the elements of thrill and excitement. If you must watch the movie then it should be only for Mohanlal and the interesting first half of the story.
