Underworld player Ragini lands up in a house in a village where she is mistaken to be Nandini, the long lost daughter of the local village chief. The love and affection that she receives makes her stay back to tackle their problems.

After her previous solo outing Ragini IPS, a lot was expected out of Veera Ranachandi from Ragini Dwivedi fans. Sadly, while the actress seems sassy and has done some daring stunts, the script and shoddy filmmaking lets the actress, who is introduced by the title Mass Queen, down.

The script is that of a run-of-the-mill commercial potboiler, with more unnecessary side plots, distasteful humour and too many characters that don't seem to make sense. One feels for the leading lady who has invested a lot in the role but has to be content with a half-baked idea for a script. The film has a rather predictable second half and the rather stretched climax takes away the seriousness from the plot. Also, the main punch dialogue - Nanna hesaru Nandini. Guddidare gooli - makes one laugh rather than applaud the bravura.

If you want to see some old school commercial fare, then maybe this could interest you.
